MORGANA
luxurious, spacious, attractive
The Morgana, an impressive three-master built in 1924, is a former cargo ship offering plenty of comfort. The ship features a spacious saloon with cozy seating areas. Sailing the Morgana requires a lot of effort. Hoisting and operating 435 m² of sail requires a lot of hands. So you can actively participate in the sailing. If you prefer to take it easy, that's also possible.
Interior
In the center of the ship is the large saloon with cozy seating areas. The saloon is high and has an English feel. A cozy bar is located in one corner. The saloon adjoins the well-equipped galley. On deck is the wheelhouse. Outside of sailing, the wheelhouse is the skipper's private area. But during the voyage, you can relax here—sheltered from the wind—and experience the sailing.

The Hope
The Morgana was launched in 1924 as "De Hoop." The ship sailed freight until 1991, after which it was used as a floating canteen by a water sports club in Wemeldinge. After a brief stint, the ship came into the possession of Lex Tichelaar of Scheepsreparatie Friesland in the late 1990s, who, commissioned by Jappie Strikwerda, converted it into the three-masted schooner Morgana.
